Basketball odds overall favor Los Angeles to attain the NBA title but the other three teams still have a chance. The Magic and the Celtics are battling it out in the Eastern Conference and the Phoenix Suns may not be thorugh as their series moves to Phoenix. There are some things to keep in mind as you wager on basketball odds at this part of the NBA season.
In the NBA playoffs you should keep in mind that the sports public is much more caught up than they were during the regular season. That means the favorite team in an NBA playoff game is going to get a heavy amount of public action. If the Los Angeles Lakers or the Orlando Magic are favored, then you can count on them receiving a lot of support from the sports public. This will limit their value in NBA odds. You should be aware of this fact as you wager on the games.
As you explore and wager on the NBA playoff games, you will recognize that what transpired in the regular season doesn’t mean much when it comes to the playoffs. You don’t have issues such as travel and fatigue being as significant in the NBA playoff games since both teams are on the same schedule. You also should be careful when betting on this round of the playoffs and laying points. The Lakers, Magic, Boston Celtics and Phoenix are all good teams and normally they don’t get crushed.
There are additional issues to think about in the NBA Playoffs as you bet basketball odds, such as the previous game, the general series circumstances, injuries, etc. It used to be that you could probably take the loser of the last game and get a win but the zig-zag theory has been moot for the most part in this year’s playoffs. Betting the NBA playoffs can profitable if you remember a few things. When it gets to the conference finals, there are only four teams left standing. There are not a lot of secrets remaining, so you really should analyze the situations when you bet these games.
